The Confidence Challenge for Women That Sparked Something Bigger
Before I ever hit “post” on the first challenge prompt, I felt it in my bones—God was stirring something in me. I was preparing to speak at a women’s networking event, sharing my story of learning to be seen, to step into confidence, to stop shrinking. But I didn’t want it to just be my voice. I wanted to invite other women to join the journey.
So I created a challenge — A confidence challenge for women:10 days. 10 photos. 10 chances to show up .No filters. No retakes. Just truth, one prompt at a time.
What Actually Happened Over Those 10 Days

What happened was more than I ever imagined. These women didn’t just post selfies—they laid down shame. They picked up joy. They told their stories in pixels and prose, in vulnerable, reflective, unfiltered photos, and victorious captions.
✨ “Confidence doesn’t have to be loud.”
✨ “God sees me. That’s enough.”
✨ “I’m letting go of shame… walking into my purpose.”
✨ “Today, I showed up. Not filtered. Not fixed. Just present.”
They showed up with boldness. With softness. With grit. They laughed, cried, reminisced, and rewrote old narratives in real time. Every single post became a small act of rebellion against perfection—and a giant leap toward freedom.
What These Women Faced

They faced the voices that told them they weren’t enough. They confronted decades of body image issues, grief, and self-doubt. They wrestled with letting go of who they were told to be… and embraced who they really are.
One woman reclaimed her voice after years of hiding. Another shared about healing from divorce. One woman bravely showed up in curlers at work, saying “This is me, even when I’m in the thick of it.”
It wasn’t about the selfies. It was about seeing themselves again—and realizing God already does.
Why This Challenge Was So Needed

Because women are hiding on purpose. We downplay our gifts. We make ourselves small to avoid judgment. We bury our boldness under to-do lists, expectations, and fear.
But here’s the thing: You can’t fulfill your calling from the shadows.
This challenge reminded us that showing up is the first step to stepping into purpose. That the real you—the joyful, raw, vibrant, faithful, enough version of you—is the one the world needs. And it turns out? That version is beautiful.
Where We Go From Here

This was never just about 10 days. This was about a movement.
A revival of confidence. A community of women cheering each other on. A space where you can be messy and still be worthy. Where you can be held and celebrated, seen and supported.
And we’re just getting started.

In Their Own Words: Stories of Strength, Healing & Boldness
These women didn’t just show up for a photo—they showed up for themselves. They faced old lies head-on. They wrestled with shame, self-doubt, and years of silence. They reclaimed their voices.
Here are just a few of the powerful things they shared during the challenge:
“ One thing that made me stronger was learning to quiet the voices from the past that told me I wasn’t enough. Strength, for me, came through all the prayers I sent to God, asking Him to bring me peace.”— Jeanette
“ God sees me as deeply seen and cherished by Him. Let myself see fully as He sees me. Help me embrace my true identity as one uniquely crafted by God.”— Gloria L.
“ The woman I’m becoming has been slowly, carefully blooming. She’s been tromped on, cut down, and deprived of the nutrients she needs to grow. But every year, because of HOPE she blooms again; and the flowers are more beautiful and fragrant than the year before.”— Joa
“This isn’t about filters or perfect hair days. It’s about being honest, present, and real in front of the lens — And letting that be enough.”— Jennifer
“ One thing I’ve overcome that made me stronger is self-sabotage. I can now speak more positive into and over myself as I feel the self-doubt, procrastination, and not-worthy spirits try to come about.”— Monica
“ I’m letting go of self-doubt, the need for control, and the weight of other people’s opinions. I’m making space for peace, growth, and purpose. Here’s to becoming the best version of myself—one release at a time.”— Mary Beth
“ After 10 days of showing up… I make no apologies, THIS IS ME! It’s true what they say, every picture tells a story. Remember to breathe, reflect, bask in the memories as they are priceless & just BE! Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh–THIS IS ME 🎶”— Patrice
Each post became a declaration. A healing. A reminder that you are not alone in what you carry—and you’re certainly not alone in your rising.
