The ‘As I Am Project’ is a portrait endeavor to highlight an individuals true and authentic essence. It is a black & white series that bodes a “Come as you are” approach to portraiture. Come with no makeup, full glam, dressed to impress, or built for comfort. Let’s see that spirit shine through!
I'm looking for 20 individuals who are ready to show up for themselves in 2024. If you're ready to embrace the raw & authentic part of yourself, then this portrait project is for you.

My name is Amanda Van Meter Burch, a portrait photographer in Central Florida, & I have set out to capture individuals in their most worthy moments of vulnerability with the purpose of revealing their beauty with photographs that will forever remind them of their strength.
